The Mystery Castle
Sara and I loaded up our bikes in the truck on Sunday and headed out to explore areas of Phoenix we had never been or spent much time in before. The first stop we made was one of the most unusual places I have ever been.
The Mystery Castle is on the slope of South Mountain overlooking a beautiful vista of desert hills, farmland and the skyline of downtown Phoenix. It was built in the 1930's by Boyce Luther Gulley who suffered from tuberculosis, and his daughter (now in her late 80's) still lives there and gives tours. The Castle even has its own wedding chapel! If you ever get a chance, check it out.

Inga & Johnny's Wedding at Sassi
Inga and Johnny live in Florida, but they joined their family and friends at Sassi in Scottsdale for their wedding. It had been raining off and on all day, so they waited until the last minute to decide if the wedding would be held outdoors. Luckily it was, and Sassi had their first guest-standing wedding!
